Abstract: The temperature dependence of the degenerate electron exchange (DEE) between the guanosine-5′-monophosphate cation and its short-lived radical dication in an aqueous solution was studied by the chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (CIDNP) method with the microsecond time resolution. Based on the simulation of the CIDNP kinetic data, the rate constant values of the DEE kex at four temperatures were determined. Using the obtained rate constant values of the DEE reaction the parameters of the dependence $${k_{{\rm{ex}}}}(T) = (A/\sqrt T ){\rm{exp}}[ - \lambda /(4RT)]$$were determined: lnA = 29.2±1.0, λ = 0.79±0.11 eV.
