Реферат: Neurovascular coupling (NVC) disruption is an important feature of ischemic stroke, yet its longitudinal voxel-wise dynamics remain insufficiently characterized. This study quantified longitudinal changes in voxel-wise NVC following small (<15 mm) noncortical ischemic stroke using resting-state fMRI combined with arterial spin labeling and evaluated how analytical choices influence detection of abnormal coupling. Twenty participants were examined at acute, subacute, and chronic stages after stroke, and 18 age-matched controls were scanned once. The spatial burden of abnormal NVC decreased over time, indicating progressive restoration of neurovascular function. Regression-based estimators demonstrated greater sensitivity to longitudinal change than correlation-based approaches, and network-level metrics showed the most consistent reductions in abnormal coupling. No significant effects of lesion side or lesion volume were observed. These findings suggest that voxel-wise NVC abnormalities decline bilaterally during early recovery after small ischemic stroke and that methodological factors influence sensitivity to detecting recovery-related changes.
